Outside the resume

Outside of professional work and personal projects related to Software Engineering, I'm very passionate about Gaming and Tech peripherals/hardware as hobbies, always keeping up with new advancements in the Tech space and new game releases. I also occasionally watch some Anime and read Manhwa, with One Piece being my favorite anime as a fun fact spoiler. The fun fact roller under contains snippets of my hobbies and interests if you wish to find out more.

A short history of my path with tech

  1. ORIGIN

    Where it started

My passion for tech started all the way back to when I was less than 10 years old and was introduced to old gaming consoles. That introduction snowballed into me growing a deep appreciation for the software others built (At the time just being kind of in awe playing classic games at a young age, not knowing how they were built) which I got an unfathomable amount of enjoyment from over the years, and ultimately led to me becoming deeply passionate about all things tech and wanting to pursue a degree in CS.

  2. STARTING OUT

    The first thing I built

My first real project dates back to my Intro To Programming class, where I built a simple bank simulator in C++ that ran in the terminal. This project was super barebones given the scope of the assignment, but served as a great culmination of everything I learned starting out, using all the fundamentals we learned in that class to make a very rough yet functional toy project that met its needs. This class was also where I had to do my first final exam that involved programming with pen and paper which is definitely a unique experience.

  3. PRESENT

Where I'm at now, especially with AI

Bit of a deep dive into my personal experience with AI nowadays, and not a repeat of my present day which is easily found in my Resume + the Home page here: In the recent years, I've become very accustomed to using and integrating AI, across multiple workflows. As someone who loves being able to work on something I find interesting, sometimes very sporadically as well, AI has been a massive productivity enhancer. AI allows me to work on projects (Both personal and open source community focused) in reasonable timeframes, and enables me to express the part of me that really enjoys seeing a product I'm passionate about come to life, and especially with community focused projects such as the Slay the Spire 2 Multiplayer Seed Finder where I can ship it out and announce to others in close to a month.
